Current Work & News
This is what is currently going on
Week starting 26th July we have a TR6 in for an MOT test,
a new stainless exhaust and service. A short door Signal Red
Triumph TR2 looking for a new home and a minimal amout of work.
An MGB for repair.

The 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally was the event
that resulted in Ford Motor Co. producing "The Escort Mexico"
model. We are currently working upon a car that was in the
1970 World Cup Rally. This Trident car is in a very original
condition and staying with us for some TLC. Original paint
design and stickers are in the theme of football. It looks
like it has just finished the event!
Current Work & News #01

Twenty years ago we were commissioned to completely rebuild a
Triumph TR3A. The car was sold and has not been seen since.
That is until this year when it reappeared exactly as we had
built it (not having been worked upon apart from service work).
It was entered into the 2009 TR International Concours
competition where it was judged 2nd over all in the
Standard TR2 - TR3A Class.
We were very pleased to see the car again and of its
achievements 20 years on. Over the years we have built
quite a few cars to this standard this being the only
one to come to light. These days most of the early TR`s
have been rebuilt and the cost of such projects are not
economic. Following equiries to this site I confirm
that the car is not for sale.

The MGBV8 which we were recommissioning at the end of last year
is now back with its owner. The car was a brilliant drive and one
of the quickest V8`s we have had in. Currently we have a
collection of Triumph Spitfires in the workshop.
Most are getting ready for their summer use. One is a Mk5 that
has been upgraded/converted to a GT6 spec. There are
considerations on such a converstion but if you really want more power
just fit a larger engine. In this case the the Spitfire is going from
a 1500 cc to a tune 2000cc.

The proprietor Jonathan Laver drove an MGB roadster in the recent
Exeter Centenary Trial, being placed as the car with the best overall performance.
Luck comes into play but this has to be backed with sound vehicle preparation.
